Ever since my first time playing field hockey in fourth grade, I've had a love and passion for the sport. After playing for several years, I started to create goals I wanted to achieve that related to field hockey. There were many small goals that included various different tricks and skills, while others included making my first school team, up until finally making varsity as a sophomore and working hard enough to earn a starting position. Now, I have a very achievable goal to accomplish, to play at the college level.
On and off the field it is known that I have no issue speaking up to ask questions, lead and help others. All of these aspects have helped me to be the person I am today as a determined and coachable player. My coaches throughout my years have helped me along the way and are still teaching me new things today. On the field, as a midfielder, I am a very versatile player as I am quick, vocal, and am able to see the whole field and all available options as I am playing.
In school, I am just as determined as I am on the field. I have a 3.6-grade point average in high school right now and I am working hard to maintain and even boost that if possible. Right now, I am looking forward to pursuing a major/minor in the criminal justice or law field.
I hope to pursue my dream of continuing to be a student-athlete once I finish high school and enter college.
