Hi, my name is Ilianna Nunez. I started playing field hockey in 8th grade on my school's modified team which is where I feel in love with the sport. I am very easily coachable and am always asking for ways to improve my performance. I am always cheering on my teammates and believe that positive energy begins with one person and radiates, ultimately uplifting the entire team's mood. My most useful skill is my speed which allows me to always keep the ball in bounds and get in front of defenders. I would love to play at the collegiate level where I will be constantly challenged and forced to sharpen my skills and become a better athlete. Academics are equally as important as field hockey for me, and I hope to study Earth Science/Geoscience in college.
