I appreciate your interest, but I have committed to MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
Field hockey has been a love of mine since I picked up a stick in the sixth grade. My passion for the game has only been fueled ever since with the help of my club, Charlotte Ambush, and high school, Charlotte Catholic. I constantly play year-round with indoor, outdoor, and whatever tournaments I can sign up for. Playing field hockey has taught me hard work, never giving up, and leaving everything I have out on the field. Beating both the 1st and 2nd ranked team to win the North Carolina State Championship my sophomore year reinforced that any goal can be reached through teamwork and dedication. I would love to play for a school whose coach and teammates will push me to keep working towards being a better player. Aside from field hockey, my academics are highly important to me and I would like to attend a school to pursue a degree in psychology or cognitive science.
