When I was growing up, I never considered myself to be a super athletic kid. That all changed when I played in my very first field hockey game in 6th grade with my school team. For the first time ever, I enjoyed that post-game exhausted feeling. I continued to play and improve and then decided to begin playing club in 8th grade. Since then, I continue to play with my school, Charlotte Catholic, as well as club with Charlotte Ambush. In order to further advance my athletic career, I picked up playing lacrosse my freshman year. Academics are very important to me, and I would like to go to a school that challenges me, as I am enrolled in higher level classes. I have many attributes which make me a good athlete including dedication, ambition, perseverance, passion for the game, and compassion for my fellow players. I don’t take myself too seriously but I still maintain a professional attitude towards the game, my coaches, my teammates, and my opponents. I am not afraid of a challenge and I constantly search for ways to better myself both on and off the field. I am excited to see where my journey takes me and what college I end up at!
