Hello, my name is Alexa Kiefer. I have been playing field hockey since the summer of 2019. Before that, I played competitive soccer since I was 4 years old. I learned the sport by attending a Charlotte Ambush beginner field hockey clinic and the Davidson College Field Hockey Camp (Summer 2019). As a freshman, I made the Hough High School Team and was a starter, playing forward and center-link. I have also participated in a winter indoor league and club team with Charlotte Ambush North. I like to cheer on my teammates and be leader in practice and games. My intention is to continue to play field hockey throughout college while majoring in Psychology or Criminal Justice.

- End of season tournament for the U-16 King team. Game 1, I scored with one minute left in the game and we won 1-0 to advance. Game 2 ended in 0-0 so we had a shoot-out. I was 1 of 3 picked for the shootout. My teammates before me both scored and our goalie stopped 2 shots so we won 2-0 to advance to the finals. We lost in the championship game but it was exciting to finish in 2nd place. So happy for my team and we had a fun season together!
