When I started field hockey I never intended for it to become so important. Up until I was twelve I was a serious dancer and soccer player on pre-professional tracks. As my life got even crazier, I stopped dancing to focus on soccer. Having always been busy, I found a large gap of time in my schedule. I picked up field hockey as cross training freshman year of high school and I became obsessed. It soon became my passion and I participated in everything field hockey I could get my hands on. I got involved in lots of clinics and even joined Metro HC.
Field Hockey has brought the best out of me, both on the field and off. I have developed strong time management skills from balancing two sports and a 4.0 GPA. I work hard in the season, but even more so in the off season. In the classroom my traits of determination and integrity show. I hope to have the chance to continue to grow as a player and as a person in the next chapter of my life.
