Grace Alger '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5’8 forward from Richmond, Virginia in the graduating class of 2021 at The Steward School. I have been playing field hockey for 6 years and was a Varsity starter as a freshman and sophomore and now as a junior. I would like to go to a strong liberal arts college that also has a has a strong field hockey program. I am interested in schools on the east coast, and am flexible on location for the right fit. I am most interested in a division III program where I can make a contribution to the team early in my college career. I study very hard and maintain a high GPA, making the Headmaster's List my sophomore year for earning all As each quarter. I volunteer for Special Olympics and meals on wheels which are both programs that I am passionate about supporting. I am also a admissions ambassador at my school. I am a three sport varsity athlete. I play varsity basketball and lacrosse, in addition to field hockey. I am willing to go the extra mile in the classroom and on the field.

Looking in the future, I would like to make my peers and family proud with my hard work and contributions to my community and my team.
