Sam Reynolds '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sam Reynolds. I am 5'10", 177lb C/O 2021 dual athlete at Thompson High School located in Alabaster, Alabama. I love and play football plus I run track. I am a 2018-2019 starting varsity DB in my sophomore year. I played a major role in assisting my teammates complete a regular football season of 8/1, advancing to the state championship becoming the 2019 State of Alabama Football Runner-Up.  My personal football stats according to MAXPREPS are: Solo Tackles=40, Total Tackles=68, Tackles per game 5.2, Caused Fumbles =1,  Fumble Recovery=1, and QB Hurries=1.  A truly electrifying season as one game was nationally televised on ESPN and my school's football team had not been to a state championship in over 30 years.

Also, I am on the 2018-2019 Varsity Track Team in Sprinter events. According to Alabama Runners.com, I rank nationally in the Top 50 for the 100 meter dash, rank #3 in the State of Alabama for the 100 meter dash, and my 4x1 relay team rank No. 3 in the State of Alabama (I'm 4th leg). My personal stats are: 40 meter time=4.4 ;  100 meter time=10.83 ; 200 meter time=22.82 ; Long Jump=20.11.5 ; and 4x1 meter time=40.99 

I have a 3.9 GPA on a 4.0 scale. My favorite subject is Social Studies. I am looking for an institution where I feel at home balancing the classroom and the football field. I want to major in Business Administration. I want to play football where I can make an immediate positive impact as a team player with both coaches and fellow football team players. I would love to be blessed with a full scholarship for me and my family. 

My personal interest: I am passionate about working with autistic students. My coaches selected me to work the 2018-2019 Special Olympics at school and I voluntarily serve as a special needs mentor for a local organization. I enjoy watching TV, playing video games, and UNO.  I always have a "CAN DO" attitude because I CAN DO all things through CHRIST who strengthens me.  I hope I am the type of football player you are looking for and the football player you need.
