Personal Statement

I‘m a 6’5”, 290 lb OL/DL who’s the 1st to practice and the last to leave. I work hard & pride myself in being a natural leader. I play both sides of the ball and rarely come off the field. A bonus, besides my size, is I'm just about ambidextrous, so I transition well on both sides of the field & on the court. While I love the fast-pace of basketball, football is emerging as my top sport. Whether school or sports, I give 100%.

I'm big on family & am lucky to have a great support system. My dad, grandfather, aunt, uncles, and several cousins have all played sports at the next level, & I intend to prove myself at the next level too.

Training

No Off Season & Baldwin County Elite

When not regularly practicing agility & strength training at school, I go to the No Off Season facility in Daphne, AL & train with Gavin Willison. I also play basketball to keep in shape with Baldwin County Elite. We've won several AAU tournaments in the Southeast, including the Addidas Zero Gravity Regionals in Daytona, FL & recently came in 2nd in a big tournament in Dallas, TX. We've qualified for a NCAA tournament in ATL the weekend after July 4th. We're coached by Lonnie Gibbs, 251-454-3945. He's trained Demarcus & Jaleel Cousins for years & he keeps us on a consistant workout plan as well.

My younger brother, Miles Uter (Class of 25), is a QB & I work out as his receiver with David Morris at the original QB Country in Mobile, AL. While I'm built more for the line, I've developed my football IQ & hands in case I'm needed as a TE in the future.

We won the 1st middle school basketball championship my 8th grade year in our school's history. Our middle school's district comprised of many 5A & 6A schools, while we are only 3A. I'm very proud of that season.
