Gilbert Aguirre '19 Recruiting Profile

If I could use one word to describe myself I would use the word resilient. I have faced a lot of adversity in my life but throughout it all, I have never given up. I believe nothing in life is given to you and that hard work and dedication are the keys to getting what you want in life. That being said, I am a very hard working individual and I will put my all into anything I set my mind to. Receiving an athletic scholarship is a privilege that I know many would love to have. For as long as I've played football, I have wanted to play at the collegiate level. To accomplish that goal that would be a dream come true. I am a competitor and there is nothing I enjoy more than going out and competing and showcasing my skills. To me, college is an opportunity of a lifetime and I will not pass it up. Having the honor of being the first one in my family to graduate college is an opportunity I would not squander. Thank you for your time and I look forward to being in contact.
