I first started playing football in 7th grade and fell in love with this amazing game. I take in everything a coach tells me as I know that there is always something new and new techniques to learn. I am a very competitive person and when I step on to a football field or the track I get even more competitive I honestly do not care who lines up across from me. I am going to let them feel me out on the field and out play that person every time. I know I need it more than them. My mindset is that there is one scholarship left and who ever lines up across from me is trying to take that opportunity from me. The person I am cannot let that happen because of my desire to succeed means more than theirs. My grades are very important and I put a lot of effort into school and at home with my academics. I also feel that it is important to give back to my community so I coach little league football here in my hometown. My Faith plays a big part of who I am so I am also a part of the FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) at my high school. I also workout as discipline to keep my body and mind right. Everything I do is in the honor of my family, especially my mom. I lost my mom recently and it has put an extra fight into me to not let her down. My mom wanted me to go to school and earn a scholarship were my education is taken care. I cannot let her down so I carry an extra chip on my shoulder knowing I have more to do so I can honor her.
