Kendre Pride '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kendre Pride, a 2024 Junior from Carl Hayden Community High School in Phoenix, Arizona with a 3.48 weighted GPA & 3.0 unweighted GPA.  I'm currently 6'2", 175lb, cornerback, squatting 405 lbs. As team captain, I led our team to a 7-3 season (best in school history) as well as an undefeated region play resulting in conference and regional champions. I have been awarded first-team All-Conference, first-team all-region, first-team all-region DB as well as first team all-region running back, and region offensive player of the year. 

I grew up in a single-parent household from age 9 with my mother and four younger brothers. I’ve been playing football since I was 5 on and off youth pop-warner teams. Since an early age, I’ve had a love and passion for football. During middle school, I took time away from football & started playing basketball.  I became one of the top-ranked guards on the west coast playing on the Under Armor & Nike Circuit. All throughout my childhood playing sports, I can count on my fingers how many games I’ve lost. I give my all every game, to give my team the best chance at winning. Playing football has taught me great things such as being mentally and physically tough and most importantly, how to have a "we over me" attitude. 

I have goals of graduating high school with great grades and going on to college to play football, and possibly going to the NFL. I play with toughness and passion. I have great size, length, speed, and strength to play this game. I also have great vision & football IQ, can catch, and wrap up and tackle. I am looking into a school that can help me reach my long-term goals & make my dreams of obtaining my college degree and the NFL a reality.
