Personal Statement

I am an all-round athlete competing at varsity football and basketball in British Columbia. Football is an important part of family life as my Dad, Uncle and Grandparents are life long Pittsburgh Steeler fans. We all gather around together to watch them play on Sunday and fly to Pittsburgh for a home game on an annual basis.

As a football player this past season I played every snap in the game at the primary positions of Safety/OLB, Wide Receiver, long snapper and special teamer. I received the Most Improved Player Award and was recently selected on the roster of the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge Varsity Coast team. In the Grade 10 season I earned MVP and was a captain. Currently I work with trainers 3-4 days per week, attend football camps while playing competitive basketball at the travel level. My current height is 5' 11 1/2" and weight 175 lbs.

I am looking to play football in the United States for a school that has a Criminal Justice program. School size is a not an issue and am hopeful to make an early impact on the team through dedication to practice and helping teammates progress.

I feel football gives me a sense of purpose and accomplishment. My varsity football team gives back to the community through volunteer work. I have been recently asked to help coach the grade 8 football team as part of the Leadership Team curriculum at high school.

The FPC will take place over one weekend (March 14-17)and will include a combine showcase and one game versus opponent from the United States. Players selected to this event have been identified as the top Canadian high school football underclassmen by Canadafootballchat.com (CFC), the owners and producers of the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge, CFC 100 combines, and Canadafootballchat.com Prospect Game. The invitation was sent by the FPC committee, comprised of the CFC Scouting Bureau, FPC scouts and CFC journalists.

Game Ready Fitness

Strength and conditioning training with professional trainers and athletes. The Game Ready Elite 7 on 7 training and academic program will run every Tuesday and Thursday. The strength and conditioning program is tailored to our 7 on 7 teams with an emphasis on speed, strength and explosiveness. In addition, players will be required to attend a study hall with our academic advisers during this time. It is our goal to teach our student-athletes to stay accountable to their studies and develop positive work habits that will help them prepare for their future. Players will be required to submit an academic progress report from their school teachers each month.
