David Mayoral '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is David Mayoral and I am in the class of 2022. I am an Offensive Lineman (RT) for Saint John Bosco in Bellflower, CA. I started both on the Freshman team and JV team in my Sophomore year. I was moved up to varsity scout team at the end of my JV year to become part of the 2019 National Champion team as a Sophomore. I am 6’2” and 280lbs. and growing stronger every day. We look forward to defending our national Championship this year.

I am looking for a college that has a strong academic and athletic program. My goal is to find a college that will allow me to not only play football and earn my degree, but also to pursue my dream to one day serve in the United States Military as an Officer after college. My family has served in the military going back two generations and I also want to serve my country in our family tradition. My Grandfather served in Korea and Vietnam as a Sergeant. My Father served in Desert Storm and in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Major. I am part of a family that believes in education and service.

Academics have always been the most important thing in my High School career. I have a 3.7 GPA and continue to take Honors and AP classes. I have also learned leadership skills by serving on my school student council every year from Middle School all through High School. I also participate and lead in extracurricular activities and earned a Certificate of Recognition from the City of Los Angeles as a “Future Leader of Tomorrow”.

I am excited for what the future holds for me.
