Hello, my name is Jack Macapawa Woodson. Prior to the start of my water polo journey, I was a club swimmer for over five years. I was introduced to water polo during the summer before my freshman year, and I instantly fell in love with this sport. I found my passion and have played Varsity level water polo for 3 years now at St. John Bosco High School. Outside of school, I am a member of the Ohana Water Polo Academy, which allows me to continue the sport year round. Throughout my years of practice and competition I have learned to be adaptive, a team player, and apply critical thinking into my decisions in the pool. Most importantly, I have become a leader and I continue to help and encourage my teammates in any way possible. I have been told I am a very coachable player, and that my greater attributes include my size, leg endurance, and skill. I am very excited to continue to build my skill set at the next level and would like to play at a Division I college. I am still deciding on studying to enter either the biological or medical field. I would like to thank my coaches and fellow teammates for shaping me into the strong player I am today.
