My ultimate goal is to play tennis at the collegiate level while earning a college degree. I am still undecided in what I want to major in but I know how valuable a college degree can be for my success in the work field. I am open to any type of school, as long as it benefits on the court and in the classroom. My love for the game of tennis is only getting stronger and I hope I can take my talents to the next level.
I believe that I can bring a lot to a team not only as an athlete but as a person. As an athlete, I believe I am not only a great role player, but also a strong leader. At my middle school, I was the school's vice president and in Boy Scouts, I am currently the troop's Senior Patrol Leader, the highest leadership position a scout can obtain. As a person, I want everyone around me to succeed. I am willing to not only push myself on and off the court, but also my teammates and friends in whatever we do. I believe anyone is able to give their all when it comes to doing what they love.
I have been playing sports all my life. I have always been curious about trying new sports and have played many throughout my whole childhood. I started playing tennis when I was three and played up until I was nine. I then took a break to play more football and basketball. At thirteen, I realized my true passion was tennis. I am excited to be playing again and always look forward to getting on the court.
My passion for tennis grows every time I get on the court. I understand the value of hard work and I am willing to push myself every day. "Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence" by Vince Lombardi.
