Nicholas Price '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a sucessful 3 sport athlete (Football, Basketball, Baseball).  I have been the Captain on most teams that I have played for and have taken that role seriously to make a positive impact to my teammates.   I fully believe that it takes everyone on the field to win and the teams success outweighs my personal success.  I work hard everyday both inside and outside of the classroom.  A typical day for me is school, practice/game, gym, homework.  This is 6+ days a week year round.  I understand that the key to success is putting the work in and rarely taking a day off.  Off the field I carry a 4.1 GPA and have been accepted to multiple colleges Engineering Schools and was recently recognized as a Super Seven student.  This is a scholarship awarded to the top 7 academically ranked students in my class.

Academics will continue to remain important going forward and my aspirations are to obtain either an Engineering degree or Business.  At this moment I am undecided.

I also participate in FBLA where I have qualified for the state competition every year it occurred (COVid).  For Basketball I was recognized as the defensive player of the year for my team this past season.  My sophomore year I was recognized as the MVP of our JV though I was promoted to Varsity towards the end of the season.  In baseball I typically carry a high .300/ low .400 average and am the starting Center Fielder.  In 2021 our team was recognized at the #1 Division 5 school in California.  This year we have moved into Division 4 and are currently undefeated.  Looking forward to a long run in the upcoming playoffs.

Unfortunately COVid caused me to miss a season of every sport.  I took that time to hit the gym even harder to make sure I was ready when everything opened up even more.
