My journey as a student-athlete began as a young kid. I knew I loved the sport and I knew I was really into school. Throughout the years I have learned that nothing comes easy. I am blessed to have learned this early on because I now understand that if I truly want something then I have to exceed expectations as well as push through the inconveniences in life. Through soccer, I have been able to find a place where I was taught life lessons all while learning about the beautiful game. I feel that I have grown as a student-athlete in many ways. The experiences and hardships that come with this sport are exactly what drive me to continue to improve my playing ability as well as becoming the person I am today.
Having been selected for All League my sophomore and junior year I knew that this was something that I wanted to pursue. I believe I can perform and compete at a college level because of my work ethic, character, and consistency that I know will have a positive impact on your program. I maintain high goals to strive for as well as surpass in my academics and athletics. My natural leadership mindset is something that I know will help your team on and off the field!
