GARY ALEXANDER '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, My name is Gary Alexander III and I play for the El Cerrito High School Varsity team.  I play mainly defense starting at the linebacker position, but can and love to play all around.  My goal in life is to make my family proud by becoming successful, rich, and happy.   I believe that going to college to earn a degree while playing a sport I know I am good at and love is the perfect route to complete my goal.  When playing football, working out, and especially in school i have a switch. When I am in my mode and in the game I stay focused on completing my task. I keep a clear mind on what i have to do and how to execute it. So expect the best of the best when it comes to me and my mental game. On the field I always give it my all, and not because I know my dad would kill me if I do not but because I know if I do not that will deter me  from my goal.   By nature I am a curious person so I am not afraid to ask questions. If I have a question about a play I  would ask because I want to execute the play as best as possible. I also push myself constantly and love challenges.  Another thing about me is that because I am curious and I like to challenge myself ,  at every game I always hit the biggest man on the other team, not only test his strength but mine as well.  In school  I am taking AP classes and trying my best in all of them because I love academic challenges as well. Other than football I love photography and I want to study forensic science and will  likely pursue that in college. I love to travel so traveling isn't a problem with me.  On and off the field I am a cool guy and anything you assign me,  just know I will do it from watching plays, studying plays, or even football homework I will do it.
