Mia Souza '22 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play softball in college and later become a criminologist. Softball has always been my number one passion and has allowed me to challenge myself both physically and mentally. I love what softball has and continues to give me, both on and off the field so much-  I volunteer to help younger girls learn to play giving back to the same community that helped me find my passion. 

I want to attend a school that will allow me to continue my growth within softball but also challenge me physically and academically. I want to find a school that helps me as an athlete by challenging me both on and off the field.  I believe that my teammates are of the utmost importance as is my community therefore  I want a program that also strives to ensure it is diverse, promotes respect and focuses on growth.

My ability to be a leader amongst my peers, bringing my passion and strength to every task, makes me a great candidate for any team.  I stay calm under pressure and never abandon any task until I have given it 100%, even when it is difficult.
