Chad Mussey '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a leader who leverages a strong background in football, being I have been playing since I was 5 years old. I have been playing quarterback since I was 5 years old and have captained all my teams that I have played for. Currently I play for Fortuna High School Husky’s in Fortuna California, which is a division 6 school in the Humboldt -Del Norte – Big 4 league. and as of November 5, 2023, and I have led our team to the playoffs for this season. And in addition I also play safety on defense.

I am currently a senior at Fortuna High School and plan to major in sociology  my GPA has varied from 3.1 to 3.5 through my high school years, and my favorite subject to study is history. I volunteer locally by coaching T-ball, and youth soccer, because I really enjoy seeing younger people develop and have a great time achieving goals.

In short, during my athletic career playing football, baseball, and basketball, I have become a team player, seeing that a winning team takes the effort of everyone to reach any goals. I am an ambitious senior in high school that contributes to both my schools and betterment of my community.
