Antonio Garcinuno '22 Recruiting Profile

My goal in life is to become a better version of myself everyday. My dream is to be able to play college soccer. Immigrating from Chile to Northern California has taught me a lot of things. I always think about the sacrifices my parents made to give me this opportunity and I do everything I can to take advantage of it. I continue to work hard everyday showing and proving I have a different work ethic than others. I study and train everyday, maintaining a 4.5 GPA and striving to be the best in my class. Coming from a county that has little opportunities for soccer, since 2017 I’ve been driving 6+ hours every Mondays and Wednesdays just to practice with my club team in Santa Rosa, CA. This commitment and dedication has shown me that if I really want it, I have to do whatever it takes. Knowing myself, I am 100% ready for new challenges in the future and prepared to work even harder. I recently just got selected to represent the ODP West Regional Team in Orlando, Florida this upcoming November. Coming from Humboldt County, I couldn’t even imagine an opportunity like this. I’m so grateful to represent the West Region and especially Fortuna. I cant wait to show what I’m capable of.
