I take both school and sports very seriously. Both of my parents always tell me that education comes first, but I feel that I can manage both things simultaneously. Since elementary school, I have been able to play soccer and basketball without my grades getting affected. I won All tourney two years in a row and twice in my eighth-grade year. I don't spend a lot of time indoors. I always do things outside like going on a walk, working out, and practicing soccer with my family. I have played soccer since I was four years old, but I have always had the mindset that there is always room to improve, and the sky is the limit. As an athlete and teammate, I always try to be a leader in the field. I try to help my teammates whenever they are confused, lost, or frustrated about something. Ferndale high is a small school, and almost half of the team players are students who have never played a sport before, so I try to encourage and help them out with whatever they need or whatever they are frustrated with. As a student and an athlete, I am a very determined person. My academic aspirations after high school are to attend a four or more-year college and become a professional in a specific career. My athletic aspiration after high school is to become a professional at the sport I love the most.
