2018-19: Co Defensive Player of the Year Honors: Season Stats include 122 Total Tackles, 40 solo tackles, 2 INT, 1 return, 3 TDs. After a very successful freshman year last year, I have been given the opportunity to once again compete at the varsity level as a Sophmore starter in the middle linebacker position as well as in the position of running back. My academic achievements remain strong and I have worked hard this past summer to improve in my skills and abilities and will make every effort to do my best on the field this year. I look forward to meeting coaches and athletes at the upcoming Army All American Underclassman showcase and skills camp in January 2019.
2017-18: I had the opportunity to play varsity football this year as an incoming freshman. It was the experience of a lifetime for me. The only freshman in the Central Valley (Central California) to have this opportunity. This experience taught me how to focus and study the game. It taught me how to get quicker because I was coming from 8th grade football right to varsity. After talking with my coaches, parents and my doctor, they all felt that I had the attitude and maturity to play at the varsity level. My physical appearance was secondary because I needed to show that I could compete at the level. I look forward to next year since our season is now over after having won our first ever championship as a school football program. It felt amazing. I am also looking forward to narrowing down my top choices for college one day and deciding on my major and what I will study. I'm thinking about sports journalism or nursing. I am keeping my options open.
