I began playing tackle football in the 3rd grade. Football became my passion that would influence much of my life. I was fortunate that even in my youth career, I was coached by some of the best Coaches in High School football. At Mater Dei High Schools QB academy and training at 3DQB, I was taught early on not only proper mechanics and on the field QB skills, but also how to watch film and understand defensive techniques. I use these skills every week in my game prep; breaking down opponent film to exploit their tendencies. I was the starting QB on my Freshman team at Mater Dei High School (10-0) and was called up to Varsity as the backup. I overcame the adversity of a broken hand and being named QB2 on Varsity my Sophomore year. I made the difficult decision to transfer schools and moved to Edison High School, where I earned the starting position on the Varsity team this season (Junior year). At Edison, I am able to put all my skills to use and see the results of all the hard work come to fruition in success on the field.
My drive to be the best Football player I can be has impacted everything I do. Learning about biomechanics in my QB training and physical therapy during rehab / wellness sessions has led me to an interest in the life sciences and goal to study kinesiology in college. A focus on my health and strength has led me to learning about nutrition and cooking. I am highly goal driven and enjoy putting in the work to achieve my goal of playing football in college.
