Taya Riley '21 Recruiting Profile

I began playing lacrosse my freshmen year when it was also the inaugural season of lacrosse at Edison High School. I have been a varsity starter since my freshmen year and I was voted captain by my teammates my sophomore and now my junior year as well. As a leader and dedicated player I was able to help my team become an established program in the Orange County are in a very short amount of time. Academically, I am taking many challenging classes this year as well as taking an extra science. School is a very important and big priority to me. I am able to maintain a balance between academics and athletics though good time management, prioritization and preparation for busy and tough weeks. Lastly I play for ACES Lacrosse club where I play on the 2021 Blue team. This is a team I am very committed to and will grown tremendously on. I hope to continue my lacrosse journey playing at the colligate level.
