It’s been a dream of mine since I was little to play college football. I understand football and school go hand and hand, and both are preparing me for success, on and off the field. I love to compete and love the grind. Playing on Fridays doesn’t come without sacrifice. Maintaining my hunger and never being complacent is what drives me to train 6-7 days a week. There’s always room for improvement in my game. From speed training 2-3 days a week with Emanuel Moody, weight training 3-4 days a week, getting route work with Coach AP, keeping a clean diet, getting to bed on time, and maintaining a GPA of 3.0 is really a 24/7 lifestyle. It’s all the small things and discipline during the week that help me shine on Friday. I do all of this to achieve my personal goals and to make my parents proud and be a role model to my little sister. Visualization helps me stay on task and I spend a lot of time seeing myself at the college of my dreams. I‘ve always done this with all aspects of my life. By doing the work, and visualizing it happening in my mind makes it come together. Watching film is another key piece to being successful. I’ve been studying film and learning how to read and break down coverages for years. I love to learn and maybe one day can coach and give back to pay forward what was given to me. I just love the game!
