Luke Burritt '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been fortunate to work on my development as a player both domestically and internationally.  In 2017, I had the opportunity to play for Levante UD La Liga youth academy Infantil A team in Valencia, Spain.  Prior to moving to Spain, I played for Pateadores USSDA team and recently played for Pateadores B03 NPL team.  For the 2020/2021 season, I will play for West Coast Futbol Club’s 2002 / 2003 ECNL team in Orange County .  I am a composed, possession oriented central midfielder who has great vision and understanding of the game.  I am leader on the team and on the field.  I am focused on playing at the highest levels and train regularly with Harry Forrester and Rob Kiernan who grew up in Watford's academy and currently play for Orange County's USL Championship team.  I am interested in pursuing a degree in business administration and finance.   Finally, I have lived on the East Coast, West Coast and in Europe.  I am open minded geographically where I will attend school.  I am looking for a strong balance between college soccer and academics.

MIC Cup – USA Soccer Stars (Barcelona, Spain)

Trained with Fulham FC (London, UK) for one summer

Played USSDA for Pateadores U15 team, central midfielder

Played for Levante UD Youth Academy’s Infantil A team for 7 months (Valencia, Spain), central midfielder

• Played in a number of La Liga Youth tournaments and won Villarreal Cup (2017)

Returned from Spain in August 2017, I decided not to play USSDA for Pateadores 2003 because I wanted to play high school soccer for Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA.

Offered a position at the Barça Academy Arizona (Casa Grande, AZ) for the 2018/2019 year. Decided not to move to Casa Grande, AZ.

During the 2018/2019 year, in order to play soccer for Santa Margarita High School, I played for Pateadores NPL (DA II) team which played in the National Premier League and was the starting central midfielder.

Varsity Soccer 2019/2020 for Santa Margarita Catholic High School, starting midfielder since  Sophomore year.

For 2020 / 2021 year, signed with WestCoast Futbol Club's 2002 / 2003 ECNL team and will play in the central midfield and left wing.
