Japheth Pleasant '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Japheth Pleasant, I am 6'1" and I weigh about 170 pounds.  I currently run a 4.6 40-yard dash.  I play quarterback, wide receiver, cornerback, and long snapper. This past season I received offensive MVP for my team and In the 2011 season I was the #5 wide receiver and #7 quarterback in the Los Angeles City Section Division II.

I have been playing football for 8 years. Currently I am a captain on the varsity football team. Becoming team captain has helped me develop leadership skills both on and off the field. I am committed to excellence, integrity, and promoting team growth. I can offer these same skills to your team!

My goal is to attend a college or university that is diverse, and has a strong commitment to academic, athletic, and professional development. My current academic interests include Graphic Design and Media. I am currently taking a few Advanced Placement Courses but the courses I enjoy most are my media classes. I strive for excellence in academics, in sports, and in life. Whatever it takes I will make sure I work hard, learn as much as possible, and I will challenge my teammates to do the same!
