Jason Cerda '21 Recruiting Profile

For the majority of my life, I played soccer until I got to high school.  When I tried out for the team and didn't make it I was devastated.  After not making the team, I decided to try out for Track and Field.  This major change from soccer to running was the best decision I could have ever made.  I went from being an average soccer player to being one of the best Track and Field athletes at my school.  By joining Track and Field and Cross country I discovered my leadership skills and I am now the captain of my team.

I strive for both academic and athletic excellence and always push the limits of what I am capable of doing.  It is a busy schedule dealing with academics and sport, but through hard work and dedication, I always do what needs to be done.
