Personal Statement

**PLEASE WATCH SENIOR FILM ON HUDL**   http://www.hudl.com/athlete/645157/

I am a tight end and defensive end at Point Loma High School in San Diego, California. I have played football since second grade and I wouldn't know what to do without it. I have started on varsity my freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior year. I love playing physical and the football field is my sanctuary. My dream is to play in the National Football league so I can buy my Mom a nice house and support my family, but before that, I want to get an education, and play for a college football program that wants me and needs what I bring to the table. I need to join a team that I feel really wants me to be there and I am the player they wanted to represent their program. I will represent my coach, my teammates, my school, and my family with pride everywhere I go. I will be a responsible student-athlete and I will lead the team with integrity. I like being depended on. I embrace the leadership role. When I am on the field with my 10 other teammates, and they are watching me, waiting to see what I am going to do when faced with an obstacle, I must step up. And I step up time and time again. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile, and I pray one day I will get the chance to participate in your program.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
