Playing for Coast Volleyball Club has taught me the importance of the commitment that is needed to play club volleyball. Managing my schedule to be successful as a student-athlete is preparing me for balancing my schedule when I attend college. Both in school and on the volleyball court I strive to be the best I can be. Staying organized and prioritizing my responsibilities is achieved by my constant work ethic.
I am thankful for the opportunities that I’ve experienced playing for Coast Volleyball Club and Point Loma High School. The opportunities to play for experienced coaches and play with teammates who share similar goals as I have prepared me to play volleyball in college. Through my experiences I have learned the importance of teamwork. As a five-time Team Captain (three-times at Coast, two-times at Point Loma High School) I would lead my teammates being remaining positive and encouraging. I would also lead by example through my commitment to the team and strong work ethic at practice and games.
