I have always considered myself an athlete. I started playing soccer at age 3 and quickly realized how much I enjoyed competing. I absolutely loved running the field and scoring of course. I thought soccer was great until one day in 4th grade. I was recruited by a friend’s father to play on our local little league football team, the Mountain Predators. My passion ignited immediately and my love for football quickly preceded that of soccer, and within a few years, I was 100% devoted to football.
I was fortunate enough to play all three levels my Freshman year; Level 3, JV, and Varsity. This enabled me to compete in 26 games that season and progress even more on the field and become a more confident player. I was honored to letter that year and learned a great deal. By Sophomore year, I was strictly Varsity and playing both offense and defense. I strive every game to do my personal best and to be a good leader for my teammates. At game 4 this year, I am #2 for Rushing Yards in the state and have 14 Touchdowns. I hope the season continues and I can add to those numbers. I know it takes a Team to achieve this and I will continue to work with mine to finish our season on top.
My hope is to find a College that fits my academic and athletic goals. I have taken many honors and AP courses in High School and have maintained above a 4.0 consistently. My academic achievements are as important to me as my athletic accomplishments. I am still undecided on my major, but know that I will continue to put my studies and my sport at the top of my priorities through the next 4 years and beyond. I hope you would find me as an asset to your roster, and I will not disappoint my Coaches, teammates, family or friends.
