Being a student athlete has taught me many lessons that are very valuable. One lesson that I have been taught is dedication, not only in football but in academics as well. When you are dedicated something you strive to do your very best at it. Being dedicated to my academics is extremely important because what I learn now I can use the rest of my life to make me a more successful person. In football I have learned that I have to not only be dedicated to the sport and my team but to myself as well. Being dedicated to myself has has pushed me to constantly get better as an athlete.
