Personal Statement

I made my first 30-yard field goal when I was 8 years old. Since then, my athletic goal has been to excel as a football Kicker. I am currently a Junior at Ransom Everglades School in Miami, FL where I have played varsity football for the past 3 years, not only as the starting Kicker and Punter, but also as a starting Wide Receiver and Strong Safety. I have achieved national ranking as a Kicker and Punter through the Chris Sailer Kicking and Kornblue Kicking organizations. I was also awarded the David Mogul Award from my school that is given to a versatile football player that demonstrates leadership and the ability to play different positions because of his athleticism and work ethic.

Academics are a top priority for me as well. I maintain a strong GPA (9.7/12) and have challenged myself academically. This year -- my Junior year -- I am taking 2 AP and 2 Honors courses.

My goal is to attend an academically selective college with a competitive football program that offers me the opportunity to earn the starting Kicker/Punter position.

Nicolas attended a Spring 2014 Showcase Camp, where he hit his KOs with some consistency, needs to work on the distance of his KOs and the accuracy of his FGs to move up in the rankings, but is very close to the next level up, performed well in the drill phase of camp, technical improvements will help him in the future, good potential to build on.
