My name is Griffin Young. I am a senior at Union County High School in Blairsville, Georgia. I have played the sport of football since an early age. I learned then to love the dynamics of the sport. It is my passion to continue playing football while I am attending college.
I was a wide receiver on my football team. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 185 pounds. For the past 3 years I have been on my school’s varsity football team. In my junior year, I was the leading receiver.
Academically, I am maintaining a 3.64 GPA. I am searching for a college where I can have the balance between the classroom and football. In other words, I am pursuing a college with outstanding academics, while having the opportunity of playing football.
My parents have taught me that effort, perseverance, and a positive attitude can pave the way to success, both in the classroom and on the football field. My parents are my greatest supporters.
It is one of my profound dreams to play college football, and I am willing to put in the time and effort to make my dream become a reality. I have an incredible work ethic and am proud to say that I always give 100% during practice and in the games. I want to be a leader on my college team, plus someone whom my teammates can respect. I desire to have a positive impact on my team as well as on my selected college.
I would deem it a tremendous honor to hear from you about the possibility of not only attending your college, but also trying out for a position on your football team.
Sincerely,
Griffin Young
