Playing high school football as a kicker has been a humbling and constructive journey. Throughout my years of playing I have learned to take responsibility in my work and strive for perfection. My sophomore year was my first year as the full time starter and I realized the pressure and the expectations that are present for a specialist. My work ethic grew tremendously and I have continued to improve each and every day. Not only do I aim for greatness on the field, but I am a perfectionist in the classroom. I believe that my education is just as important, if not more important, than the role I play on the field.
Having transferred schools after my sophomore year, I have become receptive to different coaching styles and being able to do a different task than I am comfortable with. No matter what I am asked to do, I take pride in my preparation and prove my capability to rise to the occasion. For me there is no such thing as an offseason; I have a love for what I do and enjoy training for and performing at camps in the middle of the spring. I have a strong desire to compete at the next level and aim to make that dream come true by any means necessary.
