My name is Joshua FRANKS and I attend Waialua High and Intermediate School. This season I will be Senior, playing my final career year of high school football.
I am currently a 5' 10"/315 lb offensive linemen/center. For the past four years, I participated on the Varsity football team. Before, I participated mainly as a scout team and a reserve player my freshman and sophomore year. However for my past junior and senior year, I have played at a starting position as a center and an offensive right guard.
I currently have a G.P.A. between 3.3~3.8. I plan to continue to maintain my classroom work so that I can further my education in college. I plan to attend a college that has courses in Religious Studies and or Criminal Justice.
I am looking for a college where I could make an immediate impact both in the classroom and on the field. Coming from a smaller school both athletically and academically, I will be more comfortable attending a smaller school/program more suited to my needs, like a DII, DIII, or NAIA school. However, I am open to a DI schools if the opportunity is right.
I am hoping to get either an academic or athletic scholarship so that I will be able to continue my education and take the financial burden off of my parents. Both of my parents work hard to take care of me and my younger brother. Making sure we both attend college is a top priority for them. However, I am not sure that they will be able to afford to send both of us to college without some type of financial aid.
I am willing to put in the work to achieve my future goals. With the help of GOD and my family, I know that I can make a difference/impact to where ever life takes me. Thank you for your consideration.
