Aloha, my name is Aliyah Crowley and I would love to play softball at a collegiate level. I want to play softball in college because no one in my family played collegIate level sports, except my grandpa. However, my grandpa is from the mainland so he had more exposure then us who lived in Hawaii our whole lives. To get exposure is super hard here in Hawaii because we have to fly to the mainland, which cost a lot of money. We have to pay for a flight, club, and whatever tournament/camp we’re going to. It’s already hard to live down here because of the high cost of living. It’s especially hard for my family because there is 9 of us living in a little house. I also want to pursue a career in law, even though everyone is saying that it is gonna be to difficult to play a sport and study law at the same time. Although everyone knows I do love a challenge. All I want to do is show everyone especially my younger siblings that you can do anything if you put in hard work and put your mind to it. Mahalo !
