Glen-Henry Kamai '16 Recruiting Profile

Growing up in my hometown one thing is instilled in everyone, we work hard for everything. I want to make a difference in my community by coming back after I receive my degree through college, and mentor youth to reach levels that seem impossible to the normal person. I am a product of someone believing in my ability, and one day I would like to coach, mentor, and teach the sport of football. Being of Native Hawaiian ancestry, my aspirations are to work to preserve our island eco-system and perhaps find a way to improve its sustainability. My ultimate goal would be to inspire the youth in my community to dream big, go further, and reach lengths that people only talk about. I want to show that coming from a small town has its advantages, just as long as we take them.
