I would first like to thank God for allowing me to the play sports and I will also would like to thank my parents, family and friends for their continuous support and sacrifice. As a three sport athlete I have learned a lot about myself through Football, Wrestling , and Track. Each sport has taught me many lessons that have helped me not only on the field, track, or Mat , but also outside of sports. In Football I am part of a brotherhood.
Every man on the field has to work together to accomplish a single goal. I depend on them and they depend on me. Like being a part of a puzzle, to succeed as a team, each person needs to do their very best even though they are doing different things. Unlike Football, wrestling and Track are "individual" team sports where I'm simultaneously competing with and against my teammates.
We're all pushing each other to our best performances but in the end, a successful race for one teammate can bump another friend and teammate out of the running. Being part of all of these sports has taught me to work with and respect a lot of different types of people, some who are really different from me, which is valuable in all aspects of life, inside and outside of sports.
