I started playing football in third grade. I remember originally wanting to play because my older brother, Zachary played. Once I started playing, I fell in love with the game. I spend my free time breaking down film and working on different strategies with my dad and uncle - both high school assistant coaches. I am always looking for ways to push myself and make myself a better player - working with a personal trainer, attending technique camps in the summer, and asking advice from my coaches on what I can do to improve. I have always considered myself a leader - on the field and off. My academics are extremely important to me. I currently am third in my class and I am a member of the National Honor Society. I try to lead by example - I don't ask my teammates to work any harder than I am willing to work myself and offer my help academically to teammates that may need it. I believe my hard work and leadership skills have paid off by being our Class President, Student Council Member and most of all being voted to my highest honor - Varsity Football Team Captain. It has been my goal to play college football for a very long time. It is important to me to find a college that is great academically as well as athletically. In college I would like to major in International Business with a minor in Spanish. I would love to hear from any colleges that feel I am a good fit for their program - I am looking to challenge myself and to continue to learn more about the game from my college coaches.
