Hello, my name is Aidan McMahon. I am currently a junior at Evanston Township High School and I play football and track & field. I have always loved the game of football since I can remember. I know that every day is another opportunity to improve. I am a leader on and off of the field, from being a captain my freshman and sophomore year to being a Student Ambassador for new families to the school. I was not able to play this past season due to a torn labrum. Unfortunately, this is why I do not have any junior season tape. However, I had surgery in August and am proud to have made a full recovery. This upcoming season, I plan on being the best player I can be and help the team build on top of our most successful season since 1998. As a group, we are trying to change the program into a championship program, and it starts in the offseason.
Academically, I have always strived to be my best and to work my tail off. I currently have a 4.17 GPA and a 30 on the ACT. I do plan on retaking the ACT one more time in the spring and aiming towards a 32-33. I have always been told to work as hard in the classroom as you do on the field, and I am proud to say that I have.
