Why Do I Want to Play Collegiate Football?
I want to play collegiate football because I want to live up to and exceed the expectations I have set upon myself for my future. Not only in sports, but also in the educational aspect as this is an opportunity for me to get a degree and further my education. Furthermore, I want to play football at a collegiate level because of the extra motivation that is granted through the sport, and my team, to better myself as a person, athlete, and student. Football helps me set goals and allows me to strive and pursue those goals with intensity. Finally, I want to play collegiate football for the pure aspect of getting to play a game that I know and love.
How Would I Benefit Your Team?
I would benefit your football team through my ability to block and receive from a true tight end position. I am willing to put in the extra work to not only understand, but apply every block, route, and scheme at the highest level capable on every play. Not only this, but I can apply myself to my education while simultaneously giving 110% to the team, and I am willing to accept the sacrifices that come due to my decision to do so. Finally, I am a team player. Although I will put as much focus into bettering myself as possible, I also find pride in my teammates accomplishments and motivating them to reach their goals and break through their ceilings.
What Are My Goals?
Being as frank as possible, my primary goal is to attend a college where I will become a better athlete, student, and citizen. Looking past that first task, I want to be a functioning member of a program that wants to compete and win. I hope to be a part of a team that is competitive and my goal is to be not only a member, but a leader of that team. Whether that means being the star player or just the level-headed person who motivates his teammates to perform, I want that job.
