Austin Renshaw '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Austin Renshaw, I am a senior at Herscher High School. I am 5" 11' weighing 175 pounds. I have played football since I was 8 years old. I also have been wrestling since the age of 7. In wrestling I qualified for the state tournament as a junior. I like to think that I balance my academics and athletics very well. I am a 2 year starting cornerback on the varsity team.  As a junior I had the second most tackles and I received the award for most improved player. I was also brought up to the varsity level as a sophomore. I am a very focused athlete and I am a perfectionist on the field. My goals for the sport of football are to go as far as my talents and training may take me. I feel like I would be a great college football player because of my work ethic, my leadership, and my focus. I believe that continuing to play football in college would help me become a well rounded individual. I do believe with great training and coaching  I will succeed at the collegiate level. I have the personality and the ability to lead a team with a positive outlook and I always try to keep my teammates focused even after bad plays.

I look forward to continuing my sport in college and becoming the best student athlete I can be. I will use this opportunity to grow as a person.
