As a defender, I don't have flashy stats or get the glory of scoring lots of goals, but those things aren't as important to me as team wins. That being said, I am proud that only 5 goals were scored from the field against my high school team's defense this season, and we only allowed 23 total goals in 28 games. I love helping my goalie earn shutouts (15)! My desire would be to be part of a team whose members challenge one another to improve their skills, while having each other's backs and having fun, achieving success. I would hope to contribute to that success while striving to take my skills to the next level.
I am a hard worker, both on the field and in the classroom. I am currently taking AP Literature, AP Stats and AP Chemistry, as well as other weighted classes like Analytical Geometry/Calculus, which shows my effort and ability to balance my soccer and academics. My current GPA is 4.83/5.0, since our school district decided to go pass/fail last spring. I will update this information as I complete my senior year at Herscher High School. I plan to pursue an Engineering degree, so I would prefer a college or university that has a 4 year degree program on campus.
