Adam Benton '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Adam Benton! I am currently attending High School at McHenry West Campus in Illinois.  I am a sophomore who plays Varsity Football in the fall, Varsity Basketball in the winter, and Track in the spring.   I've been very blessed to play at a Varsity level as a sophomore.  My teammates have welcomed me with open arms. I hope to continue to push myself to become the best player to set foot in McHenry.  

This past football season I played Wide Receiver, Slot Receiver, Tight End, and Quarterback.  I was fortunate to play at both the Varsity level and JV level.  I got a lot of playing time in during the 2018 season and learned a lot! While on JV, I did play some defense, but prefer offense since I've been playing on that side of the ball since the age of seven.  

I enjoy playing sports year round.  It helps to keep my grades up!  As a very busy student, I have been able to maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or better.  As I continue my school journey, I will strive to do the best that I can with each class that I take.  I am just as motivated in the classroom as I am on the field or in the weight room.  My goal is to play College Football and get a great education so that I can set myself up for success as I age.
