Nicolas (Cole) Matejka '25 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for taking the time to consider me as an asset to your team. I love the game of football, and since I started playing at age five, I have dreamed of playing at the collegiate level. I bring coachability, excellent leadership, and a high football IQ wherever I go, and I am looking for a program to grow me as a student, athlete, and man.

I will do anything for the team, whether through being a practice player or a leader in whatever way possible. I am a class of 2025 Senior who is deep in the recruiting process after a successful junior season. I tore my ACL at the start of sophomore year and worked to recover in six months. I gained thirty pounds of muscle during my recovery time, which only fed my love of lifting and made me physically stronger. My dad has always told me that hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard, and I try to live that out every day by honing my talent and constantly working to become the best I can be.
