In June of 2017, I tore my labrum (shoulder) playing pickup basketball with my friends. Had successful surgery June 29th but unfortunately this injury cost me my junior year. I was medically cleared from my doctors January of 2018, with no limitations. This spring and summer, I have participated in invite-only showcases, earned an invite to Rivals 3 star camp here in Chicago, and participated in college invite camps.
I started the first game of the season and had 3 TD's with 151 yards of passing. End of the third quarter, I hurt my knee. Found it was my ACL but planned to return week 5 wearing an ACL brace. Unfortunately, in the final play of practice that week, my knee buckled. I have torn my meniscus and will be getting surgery Oct 25th.
I have updated my hudl highlights to show as many plays in that first game to show my abilities. I will be rehabbing my knee and return hungry to show the kind of elite quarterback I can be.
