Personal Statement

Coach ,

My name is Tyler Hands, I'm a 6'2" 255 pound defensive lineman from Carroll High School in Fort Wayne Indiana. In 2013 I was named 1st Team NHC All Conference Defensive End, 2nd team All-Area,Fisrt team IFCA all-State , O-D All-American , and most importantly voted by my team a team captain.  In 2012 I earned all-NHC and all-area honors. In 2012 & 2013 I attended FBU and earned a invitation to FBU TopGun. I started playing contact football in the third grade and  have played every year since. In high school as a freshman I was moved up to the varsity level for sectionals, and since Sophomore year I have started varsity every game. Ever since I was little I've had the dream of playing college football and I am looking for a program in which I fit football wise, as well as academically. Besides football my extracurricular activities consist of Boy Scouts which this past March I earned my Eagle Scout rank. Academically I am in the top 40% of my class and this semester I have a 3.7 gpa and I am on track for honor roll as well as my academic honors diploma. I hope to talk to you soon about your program.

Thank You,

Tyler Hands

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
